Policies & Seating ·
The management at Gypsy Theatre will do everything in their power to make your theatre experience a happy and enjoyable one. However there are certain policies that we must uphold in order to create the professional environment that you expect from us.
Handling Charges
As a Gypsy Theatre Member your initial ticket order will be processed without handling charges. Purchases by non-members are subject to a $3 service charge per order for all telephone, fax, mail and e-mail orders. Ticket purchases in person have a Building Maintenance surcharge of $3 per order.
Exchanges
We will exchange tickets for another performance. Please return the original tickets, marked VOID, to the Box Office (by mail or in person) at least 24 hours before the performance. A service charge of $2 per ticket applies for non-members.
Returns
Gypsy cannot issue refunds for returned tickets. However, you may turn in your tickets as a donation to Gypsy Theatre and receive a tax receipt for their value.
Late Arrivals
If you are late or need to leave the auditorium, we will seat you in the most accessible location at the first suitable break in the performance.
Special Needs
If you require floor seats, or seats near the front of the stage, or if you prefer seating on our raised platforms please let the box office personnel know at the time of ordering your tickets. Gypsy Theatre Members have priority seating privileges but we will do all that we can to accommodate your special needs.
CAMERAS, PAGERS, RECORDING EQUIPMENT, CELLULAR PHONES and similar devices are not permitted in the auditorium. No photographs may be taken in the auditorium at any time.
Our plays are performed on a large semi-thrust style stage with either cabaret seating (tables & chairs) on two sides or standard theatre seating. This configuration creates an intimate and inviting atmosphere that ensures all seats have excellent sightlines and are within 30' of the stage. Our auditorium is fully licensed and with the cabaret format you are invited to take your drinks (purchased at the beer & wine bar in the lobby) to your tables to enjoy during the performance. The bar is open one hour prior to each performance, during each intermission, and for up to one hour after the conclusion of the show.
